Maddy is an 8-year-old BLM Mustang mare  being trained by Jessica Abatie for Mustangs MEND in Albany, Oregon. Maddy is smart, attentive and thinks things through. She’s been conditioning like crazy, is completely relaxed at obstacles, and enjoys lopes on the beach. She’s going to make someone a great ranch horse. Follow Maddy’s progress on Facebook.

Jessica Abatie is a WPRA barrel racer, Extreme Cowboy Racer and a timed event specialist from Estacada, Oregon. Not only does she train some of the top horses and youth in the Northwest, she is a true horseman, having ridden under the likes of Chris Cox and Dan James. Jessica started her first horse solo at age 12 and as a young teen was frequently handed troubled and unstarted horses, and still receives a steady flow of word of mouth business accordingly.
