Zeus, a 19-yr-old Quarter Horse / Paso / Azteca cross gelding, was rescued out of Hood River in winter of 2017 by Silent Wave Horse Rescue in Kimberly, Oregon. Zeus is being trained Charlene Wallstrom of Lone Star Ranch Training & Rescues. Zeus was a Mexican Dancing Horse living in the most appalling conditions with 7 other horses. Charlene is working on improving his relaxation under saddle, suppleness and bending, standing for mounting, proper gaits and correctly moving off the leg, and he’s showing great potential to become an amazing Working Equitation mount! He’s already successfully completed Working Equitation shows. Zeus definitely likes to be a leader, very brave and bold! He doesn’t hesitate to cross water, no matter if it’s just a puddle or rushing river that’s belly deep. Follow Zeus’ progress on Facebook.
